Adjusting display

On Windows, I did something to magnify the display and adjust the interface. While easier to read, I have lost the (simultaneous) display of new users and of timestamps of activity (e.g. "Just now"). I cannot find the setting to reverse this, and I don't know how to revert to the original display. How do I retrieve the display?

Pressing W, or the icon in the very top right, will show the userlist.

To adjust the font size back down, press option-minus, or click your user icon in the top-right (just to the left of the userlist icon) and use the plus/minus next to the "A" to change the font size.

Yes. I have reduced the font size down to the lowest value (12 in my case). My display still contains two main areas: left sidebar, and discussion/list of discussions. There is no more permanent user list on the right, and when I list discussions, I no longer can see the activity ("20 minutes ago"). How do I recover those?

Got it. I am using Microsoft Edge, and had changed the Zoom setting on the page to %175. Problem solved.

Short answer, yes I tried unhiding the list.

Long answer: I had a different issue, which involved the zoom-level on the browser I was using. Dealing with that solved the problem.

Now I have a different one which is minor: The display of threads has changed style, so that I only see title abbreviations rather than the whole title. Is this a user-configurable feature?

This is a design change that's not currently configurable -- we're still tuning the details, and this is a great time to give feedback.

Are you finding that the part you see is not enough to tell what the thread is about?

Really, it's more that I am curmudgeonly and resistant to change. I was getting used to the display where each thread occupied two or more lines on the screen to accommodate the title, and now it has collapsed so I have to hover over to see the whole title. I can cope, but I would prefer to have an option which (by user default) allows me to see complete titles without hovering.

And while most times the prefix of the title distinguishes it, I can see where in the list I would want both of "Announcement for Conference 2025" and "Announcement for Conference 2026" displayed in full.
