Filter stream list to show `following` chats

Hello everyone, this may be a simple question, but it would help in the long run. How do I filter the side list of STREAMS to show only chats that I follow? The only filter option I found there is to seach a name. Is this a thing? Thanks in advance

There is an option "Pin stream to top". Does that help?

You can also mute streams, or unsubscribe from them.

The alternative I found was to open the "Recent streams" tab

I actually meant topic, not stream

Ooh, that's a quite different matter. In that case "Recent conversations" is indeed the best feature, I think

By the way, is the recent conversations tab available on the zulip app? I couldn't find it

Unfortunately it doesn't, and this bothered me for years. I learned to mark topic as following (long pressing the topic title), and find them when I'm back to the web version.

When I'm on mobile, if the topic is active, I'll be lucky to return to the topic by clicking on notifications. If not, I have to remember which stream it belongs to, then go into the stream topic list (which is deep, 2-3 clicks from app home).

For your original question, there is a dropdown menu on top left of the recent conversation, you can choose to view only recent conversations that you followed.

Another trick is that I usually star some messages in the topic I followed, then I can return to the topic from starred messages, less clicks on mobile for recent conversations.

Remember that the zulip app is currently being completely rewritten (search for flutter in this stream).

The Inbox view in the web app can also be filtered to followed topics.
