Getting notifications for just specific topics in a stream

I'd like to get notifications for topics that I'm participating in, but getting notified for every message in a stream is too much; just to check, is there any way to get that sort of finer granularity for notifications? Judging from this issue on GitHub I would guess not, but I figured I'd ask here as well just in case

This tip might be related in the world without notifications for topics:

Every-time you wish to check the updates in the topics you participated, open "Recent topics" (at the top left corner of the Zulip client) and choose "Participated".

(This is a beta feature, you might need to update the client)

Before there's this feature, I've been using another trick:

Click the vertical 3 dots on the right of my used id in "USERS" (on the left of the Zulip client), and choose "View messages sent".

Unfortunately, both tricks are not available to the app, so I'm subscribing to everything...

That is useful, thanks @Utensil Song! It would still be better to get push notifications, but at least this way it's easy to check once a day or so
