Keyboard shortcut to format as code?

I couldn't find any keyboard shortcut to format selected text as code. Is this indeed not possible in Zulip? This is unexpected tbh. It's quite tedious to carefully wrap things in backticks manually every time

Selecting and using some keyboard shortcut seems a lot more tedious than typing a backtick at at beginning and end of some code. Does your keyboard configuration make it extremely hard to type a backtick?

I believe this could be a problem on mobile
