Mark all as read UX

My workflow is to skim the “Recent Conversations”, and then mark all as read. Unfortunately especially on mobile, marking all as read means tapping on the burger, then the three dots next to recent conversations, then select the first (and only) option, and confirm. Relatively tedious, and also easy to mistap (I regularly change my home view because I didn't hit the right dots).

Just checking: Is there maybe a better way that I missed?

In the web app, you can just click on the unread counters.

With web app, you mean the website opened in the browser? That's what I am using, but at least on Firefox on Android, tapping on the count doesn't work.

Yeah, browser or desktop app. I wonder if it's not working on a mobile/touch device for some reason?

Oh, that's the conversation view, that button works for me and I use that (sometimes a bit small to hit reliably with my fingers, though.).

Is there something similar to mark all as read though, not just one conversation? I did try to click the message counts in the left sidebar, hoping they'd behave the same, but they don't do that it seems.

The triple-dots next to "Recent conversations" should have a "mark all as read" which is global across all unreads

Oho -- we only show that option on the home view. The other ones only show "Make this my default home view" so those docs and my suggestion may not work exactly as written depending on what the home view is set to
