For #announce > Mathlib Reviewer Bootcamp, I see the application instructions on the website but I'm not seeing where it says exactly what should be included in the email. Am I overlooking it or is it not mentioned?

Yaël Dillies (Feb 16 2026 at 11:02):

Thank you for pointing out the oversight. I have changed the application description to:

To apply, please send an email to yael.dillies@math.su.se with subject
MRB 2026 - Applicant name by 28th February 2026 containing: your review and mathematical interests,
a short summary of your experience with Lean/Mathlib and a few sentences about your motivation.
If you need a visa to visit Sweden, please indicate so in your email.

Wrenna Robson (Feb 16 2026 at 12:10):

This is an awesome opportunity - I am going to seek permission from my boss but if I get that I will 100% apply. Honestly, this feels like it would be perfect for me.

David Ang (Feb 16 2026 at 16:06):

What's a "reasonable" amount of travel funding from Europe per person?

Yaël Dillies (Feb 16 2026 at 16:51):

With 12 participants, there would be ~2000SEK ~= 200 EUR available for travel per person. With 15 participants, this would go down to ~700SEK ~= 70 EUR per person.

Snir Broshi (Feb 16 2026 at 17:04):

Oh, the flights alone would cost me ~400 EUR
Is there a cheap place to stay in the area?

Yaël Dillies (Feb 16 2026 at 17:04):

We would be covering accommodation

David Ang (Feb 16 2026 at 17:22):

Strangely, trains from London to Stockholm and back are also about 400 EUR if you like that kind of thing :)

Jeremy Tan (Feb 17 2026 at 01:06):

I cannot attend this – I am now in my PhD under Frank Stephan

Wrenna Robson (Feb 17 2026 at 09:48):

@Yaël Dillies I have already applied but I would ideally like to apply for travel funding - unfortunately for reasons I can't get into travel approval on my current grant can be a little difficult.

Wrenna Robson (Feb 17 2026 at 09:56):

If I have to I have some personal funds to draw on but given we are trying to save for a trip to Australia this year for family reasons I would prefer to avoid this

Where are you based?

Jireh Loreaux (Feb 25 2026 at 15:05):

Wrenna, if people want to share this information, they can add location data to their Zulip profile, and Violeta Hernández has done so. Check there.

Oh yes! I forgot that is what latitude and longitude are.

Wrenna Robson (Feb 25 2026 at 15:07):

Hmm.
