About allowing PRs to be marked as awaiting author

Two questions, (one of which also on the issue itself)

Firstly what should this mean for moving it between columns in the project? Does it move back to in progress? Or is it left in reviewing.

Secondly should the instructions for using this go in Contributing.md? Or is this just some magic maintainer should know about?

There's a PR for this now and I have also done the column thing (on a different branch ) if that's desired
