I see now that my slides were not really full screen and thus were quite small. Sorry about that. It's probably due to the unusual screen resolution of the computer I used. I'll investigate.

I usually share the window and not my screen to avoid that type of thing with virtual presentations

Another trick I've done in the past to avoid that with full-screen sharing is temporarily cripple my screen resolution in order to match the aspect ratio of my slides...
