Adjusting / hiding definition numbers on equations page

I'm not sure if this is just me, but the off-by-one between the definition and equation numbers on https://teorth.github.io/equational_theories/blueprint/sect0002.html (e.g Definition 2 equation 1) keeps throwing me off when trying to find the right equations. Would it make sense to somehow renumber the Magma definition (which is currently definition 1), or suppress the definition numbers in favor of only displaying the equation numbers?

Hmm, perhaps there is a way in LaTeX to override the default numbering, for instance making the definition of Equation 168 Definition D.168 rather than the Definition 17 it is currently. I have to go offline for several hours so I won't attend to this for a while, but if nobody else addresses this issue by tomorrow I will try to perform a relabeling.
