This thread is for anyone who wants to coordinate informal meetups before or during the conference.

Feel free to use it to:

• find people to meet in Bologna before the event starts,
• organize small gatherings in the evenings,
• coordinate taxis or transport to and from the airport,
• share practical tips (places to eat, where to buy things, etc.),
• or simply connect with other participants.

This is a completely informal space meant to make it easier for participants to meet and organize on their own.

I will arrive in an hour or so at Bologna Centrale and would be happy to have dinner or drinks later tonight sometimes if anyone is up for it. I'm staying near the train station, but I'm ready to move around in the city. Any tips for a good place from the people who know the city?
